Becky C. - So glad things went well with your dad.

Aara - Awesome job on the rooms. You have been busy. Aislynn's room looks so bright and cheerful now. I can not believe the transformation.

Denise - Poor Alexa. I hope her leg has healed from her shots.

Becky - At first he was not sure about the baby food but now that he has the hang of it he likes it. We are going to try squash on Tuesday.

Kate - He has a first tooth?? Wow!

Clare - I have been giving Brody Gerber mostly. I like the plastic containers with snap on lids that have better then the jars that other companies make. So glad the babies are doing well. Do the Dr.'s expect you to go to your due date or would they expect you to give birth sooner since you have twins?

AFM: We have absolutly had it with our neighbors. Our property abutts a farm and they are the worst people I have ever met. I will not go on and on about the issues we have had but here is the latest. We came back from vacation and they had put a fence up about 4 feet from our bedroom window and have decided that is where their cows will graze now. We have been arguing over this for a few years now beacuse my well is right there and that means the cows are now about 14 feet from my well, which is no good. That is my drinking water and cow poop could make us very sick. With that in mind, the fact that our nearest family lives 2 hours away, I am most likley going to be transfered to Smithfiled RI in a year or so and our budget is stretched because of the amount we are paying in mortgage not to mention an old house needs repairs all the time .... we have decided we want to sell our house and move ASAP. We know the market is not good right now so I contacted a company that works in MA, their motto is "We will sell your house in 70 days or we will buy it" I have an apt to meet with them this Thursday. DH and I are hoping to sell the house and then find a house to rent. closer to his parents. I just cna not take the stress anymore. I hate coming home. The thing that really gets me is that the farmers cows have gotten out and torn up my property so many time we stopped counting. At one point it was happening every 2 weeks so we finally called animal control, who cam eout and talked to them. After each time we had to clean up the cox dung (which are huge) and had to patch the huges holes their hoof left in our grass. We asked the farmer to help and he said "Absolutley NOt, if you did not want to deal wit thie stuff you should not have moved near a farm" UUUUGGGGHHHHH. We never went after them to help pay for repairs and as I said we only every called animal control one time. Prior to thaqt we would call them directly.

So on the newly erected fence .. this @hole actually put up 3 No trapassing signs facing our property. In fact the only ones who can see them is us. REALLY?!?!?! Where the heck does he get off? We are not the ones who need to be told which property to stay off of. Anyway, DH and I did not want to spend all summer looking at these ugly signs everytime we spent time in our backyard. So in front of each sign DH took some yard furniture and created little areas, SO it looks like there are 3 places were we may sit and have coffeee or grill in front of the 3 signs. Anyway the farmer drove by the other day and noticed that we put furniture on our property in front of his signs and he was mad. He and his parents drove by 5 times last night checking out our yard. The crazy thing is that prior to living in this house we lived next to a farm in a different twon and we loved that farm. We went all the time and never had an issues with that farmer. At least it is not just us. When you go online and look up the farm we live by, it has nothing but negative reviews. UGH, I just wish this would all be over so we could be happy about where we live again. :}

Stacey - With twins, they rarely let a person go until their due date and usually the babies are born a couple of weeks early. I think I heard the statistic that 50% are born by the 37th week. I want these babies to bake for as long as possible! Smile

As for your neighbor situation, I would be mad too! To have cows by your drinking water is not good. They seem like they don't have too much to do with their time if they keep driving by your house - must be bored. Hopefully you are able to sell your house quickly so that you can get away from that situation.

Yay ~ Clare put up her ticker Very Happy

Stacey ~ man, oh, man, I would make their lives a living hell. Um, they ruined YOUR property. It has nothing to do with you choosing to live near a farm. Seriously. I'd threaten court. I'm evil.

Hi to EOE. It's seriously reading 109 on my outdoor thermometer. It's in the sun so deduct maybe 5 to 7 degrees and it's still hot at h-e-double hockey sticks.

I'm lazy today. It's Sunday, Chris is working, and Alexa is playing by herself today. Maybe I'll finish the laundry.........

Stacey-Ugh, neighbors...I hope you can sell and move quickly! I know we have issues with our neighbor across the street...well I don't anyway. He's always in our business, I can't even go outside with Nick without him coming over. He is retired and just won't leave anyone alone because he is so bored all the time.

Denise-We are getting your heat today, its supposed to be in the 90s and I am planning on staying in the air conditioning all day!

AFM-Bachelorette Party was fun, but I have to say I am way too old for this crap, lol. A lot of the girls who went are single and I had to play mom all night. I don't drink much anymore, not a big fan of feeling like crap because I always get sick when I drink. we stayed at the club for most of the night and I just wanted out of there! Seriously, being on the dance floor was like getting molested. Had to take care of too drunk girls and evenutally a couple of them escaped and never came back to OUR room. Which did make sleeping with just the bachelorette a lot better than having more people in the bed but I was up worrying about them all night. Then I had to hear the next day how bad they felt about certain things they did. I couldn't wait to come home to my boys...I guess that makes me old! lol
Kind of mad I didn't get to gamble AT ALL! But at least I didn't really spend too much!

Alright, going to enjoy my day with Nick, we are headed to Carters to pick up a couple more summer outfits for him!

Clare- yay !!!! I cant believe you ar 15 wks already!!

Stacey- that really sucks. I would be so upset. Good luck with selling the house.

Becky- I feel the same way about going out. Luckily my friends have outgrown it too!

I had an uneventful yet busy weekend! Lots of cleaning and laundry done. Had family over to eat both sat and sun. My brother, sil and nephew came over yesterday. The boys played in sprinkler and had a blast. Last night Leo woke up at 11:30 freaking out. WOuld not relax. He woke Brennan up too. So DH went to lay with BRennan and I kept Leo in bed with me. He hada little bump on his lip this morning so I htink he must have bumped in his sleep and that is why he was so upset. Fun night.

Becky C ~ I thought it was supposed to be nice today but it's going to be around 90 and humid again. Now it's looking good for Wednesday - only 77!! And do you know??? I haven't had a drink since St. Patty's Day 2008, right before I got pregnant with Alexa? I used to drink when we'd go out but now, I'm old and it takes multiple days to recover and I hate that. Plus, I still have to take care of Alexa so why bother - lol. I'd rather stay home. I'm such a home body.

Becky ~ sounds like a good weekend entertaining. I think the pool I bought Alexa is too big for her. She won't go in it. I'm going to have to bust out the pool from last year. And I think I might get her a sprinkler. My mom was spraying her with the hose when we were up in Pgh and she loved it.

As for us, we need to run out today but I can't leave until Chris gets home b/c the landscaper's are here putting down mulch around our trees. I just want this stupid tree project to be done!!!

She's still sleeping and I'm hoping for no poops today. KFC for me!

Speaking of hot and humid-our a/c is about to go. It has been leaking on and off all weekend. It will also not get the house cooler than 80. We will hopefully be able to get a new one in late august. We might have to get a portable one to use in the living room until we can get it replaced. Sad

Post by shannon luddy Mon Jun 28, 2010 11:46 am

hey guys!
I have been MIA for so long it seems. I have not even been able to lurk. Life has been a whirlwind lately and is finally settling down I think.
We are moving out next month!!! and, my husband got a job! The Lord has provided and we are thrilled. Last month they found a quit large cyst on my ovary and I had to start BC for 2 months to make it go away. It was kinda hard emotionally after doing so much to try and get pregnant, to go back on BC. But, i am doing fine with it, only one more month to go.

I have a question though, yesterday at work I had bad cramps and figured my period was coming, even though I still had 4 white pills to go...I ran to the bathroom all day long and nothing. then finally some spotting started I think. But its very very light brown and never really started. Just a faint spot when I wiped, but nothing ever on the pad. The cramps stopped and I keep waiting for the real period to come or whatever, but still no sign of it. is this normal after going back on the pill for the first period? I can not remember, its been years since I was on the stuff. anyways, just thought you guys may know something.

My DH and I have decided that if we dont get pregant in 6-8 months on our own, we will go for the invetro. My doctor gave us the brochure for the specialist he recommends. It seemed so strange looking at that paper. Like, wow, this may really be happening. I am thankful though. anyways, I will do better to post now that I feel like we will be finally getting settled. Thanks girls for listening, everyones babies are getting so big and so beautiful!!! congrats!!

Shannon-So happy your DH got a job and you will be moving out soon! As for the BC thing, I had a similar thing happen when I started my new BC Zovia...I just spotted for a day or so and then thought it was weird...but apparently it was just the pill and my periods are like that every few months.

Becky C. - I feel too old for the party stuff too. People my age that I know still go out and drink and I just don't think it sounds like any fun anymore. I'm usually in bed by 10:00 (and love sleeping in my own bed, by the way)! Smile

Becky - Hope you are able to sleep better tonight! Poor Leo was probably scared.

Shannon - I don't really know the answer to your question, but yay for you guys moving out! That must be very exciting! Hopefully your cyst goes away soon too. Hopefully you don't end up having to do IVF, but if you do, feel free to ask me any questions.

Clare - It is so nice to see a ticker with your posts!!

Denise - WOw, it is really hot where you are. I hope you are staying cool. I wish we could take the farmer to court but we could not afford it. I have never wanted to sue someone so bad in my life, which is completley unlike me. LOL

Becky C. - I feel your pain. Everytime I go out with the single girls I realize how old I feel. I am also the mom of the group. I like to have a few drinks but do not like to get wasted because I do not have the 3 days it takes to recover these days. LOL

Becky - I hope your can get a new A/C in August. I could not imagine living in the south without one.

Shannon - Sorry to hear about the cyst but so glad everything else is going so well. I remeber feeling the same way before I had my IUI. I was looking over paperwork thinking, wow... is this really happening? Good Luck

It was very hot and humid today, I hate this weather. I hope it is nice for 4th of July. We are going to Old Sturbridge Village again this year and I am so excited. Anyone else have big plans for the 4th?

I am a little annoyed about swimming. I found out last night that Red Cross changed things this year and kids under 5 have to be in a preschool level. It was fine last session b/c the other kids could swim like B. Well now this time the kids are younget and cant swim. They have the kids blowing bubbles in the water. I told the coach that B can swim he just has to make him do it. I feel like it is a waste of money b/c he isnt learning anything. I was going to do 1 more session after this but now I will not. Stinks for B b/c he loves it. I will need to find another activity for him to do.

Becky c- thank you, mine is loestrinfe 24 or something? I felt sicker than a dog the first few weeks of taking it. it was aweful. a friend at work had the same issue with it, so i guess its just the way this pill is! I'm ok now, and my dr. said this was the best way to shrink it, other than shots which he said would cause a lot more weight gain which i know i cant handle!! I have finally lost all that i had gained from the clomid. how is your friend and her dh coping?

clare- thank you so much aswell, we are beyond excited!! and best part, i can walk to work. the apartments are actually in the shopping center where i work. yay for saving gas! thank you for offering, I will prob be bugging you like crazy if i start it, i know NOTHING about it, nor do I know anyone who does..so thank you. how are you doing/feeling? are you going to find out the sexes?

Stacey- thanks for your support, it is strange isnt it? looking at the paper work, and this specific folder seemed really outdated so it felt like a movie or something lol. enjoy your 4th!! sounds fun!

Kate- yay I hope that happens to me!! yay for teefers!! go ben!

Just doing errands today, got everything in line for school, I am nervous and excited. its been 4 years since i have taken any classes..yikes! but I am really determined this time. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Shannon- sorry you were put back on BCP! I'm also taking Loestrin 24. It's supposed to help with my migraines (ha! that hasn't happened). Anyway...I may not get AF for 2 or 3 cycles, then get a really light one. I haven't even had to use a tampon since I've been on it! A panty liner is all that I need. I have had some occasional breakthrough bleeding here and there, but it's also been extremely light. I'm sure you're fine and it's just the goofy BCP!

Shannon ~ sorry about the pill issue. I hate them. That is why we're doing permanent birth control after this baby. It seems like all my insurance wants to pay for is the generics which do something weird to my system. That is so great you are moving, new job, etc. It'll be nice to walk to work, too!

Adrienne ~ I forgot that I get migraines when pregnant. They suck. I couldn't imagine getting them all the time.

Becky C ~ how hot was it yesterday? It was almost 95 here. It's in the high 80s low 90s today BUT it's only supposed to be barely 80 tomorrow!! I'm so excited. I took Alexa out in her pool today for an hour and a half and when I came in, I was so nauseous and felt icky. I know that not going to the beach in a few weeks is the right thing to do.

Maureen ~ how is everything going? How is hubby's school? I hope all is well with the night shift and that you're getting some relief from the heat wave!

Clare ~ how are you feeling? Has your nausea and such gone away? Are you finding out the sex of the babies?

Stacey ~ I hope you can just move. People are idiots.

Becky ~ that sucks about Brennan's swim lessons. I don't think that the Red Cross should dictate where kids are placed. They can make a guideline but if the lesson people feel he's ready to move up, then move him up.

Hi to EOE. I'm sitting here with a stupid headache again. Grrrr. One day I'm going to wake up feeling 100%. Last night I was holding Alexa while Chris was making dinner and she was more on my belly than my hip and I felt this jolt in my lower abdomen, almost like an electric shock. I don't know if it was a weird muscle twitch or the baby just didn't like the pressure on my belly and did one hell of a kick. I'm feeling bumps here and there but nothing like that. It was so weird.

I'm going to try to figure out what in the world to make Alexa for dinner. Maybe eggs. I'm not feeling like much else........

Denise-I think it was in the mid 90s yesterday but they said the heat index was 104...then we got some bad storms that dropped the temp a bit, but today it was back in the 90s. We aren't even supposed to hit 80 tomorrow either! I am excited! Hey, are you going to find out what this baby is or are you and Chris going to be surprised again? Sorry that you are still feeling so crappy...this little one is kicking your butt!

Shannon-Good luck with school! I BF and her husband are going tomorrow to a fertility specialist. They saw a urologist who specializes in male fertility who said it is a veriocele (sp?) after the other guy told him no after an ultrasound. So they really didn't know which way to go. They are getting the go ahead to try IUI and she is hoping to start her first cycle in August, because they are going to Ireland in July.

Becky-That stinks about the swimming classes, hopefully you can find something he likes just as much!

Kate-Those girls were CRAZY the other night, lol. Enjoy your clamcakes and chowder! DH and I went to Iggys the other night, it was so good!

AFM-So tomorrow is my last Wednesday off for awhile Sad. We are going to the Providence Childrens Museum with my friend and her daughter which should be fun. Hopefully I will go back in September and I am looking forward to my vacation time in August.

Alright, its bedtime for this miserable kid! (Nick, not me, lol)

Denise and Shannon - I'm feeling pretty good. I get occassional headaches (which had been much worse before), but nothing I can't handle. Smile It's all just normal pregnancy stuff, according to my doctor. We will be finding out the sexes of our babies two weeks from this Friday - so July 16th! We're going to have the doctor put the sex of one baby in one envelope and the sex of the other baby in another envelope. That night, we're going to go to dinner with our parents and have each set of parents open an envelope and tell us the sexes of our babies! My husband came up with this idea and I think it's pretty cute! Smile

Becky C ~ the wind has been blowing all day here bringing cooler air. I'm SO freakin' excited. Doesn't take much nowadays - lol. Yes, we will be finding out this time around. I do NOT have the patience to wait for some reason. And boo for your last Wed. off Surprised(

Clare ~ that is an awesome idea. I love it. I can't wait. I have an appt on July 8th and I'm hoping this bean will want to show us the goods. If not, I'll probably have to wait until 20+ weeks (that is when my doc does the anatomy scan). That's too long to wait!

I'm getting ready to head to bed. Alexa and I went out at 7:15 to go water our new trees - damn, it takes a long time to water 21 trees, BTW - and she was in her swing for 30 minutes. Threw a hissy fit when I took her in. But she's sacked out now. I'm off to shower and relax. TTYL.

Adrienne- that is exactly how mine is. that helps bc i keep waiting and waiting for it to really start, but if its going to stay like this the whole time, then thats great with me! I was more so annoyed that it had already been 3 days of cramping and "hadn't even started yet" phew. I hope this is the case. Either way I can make it one more month! denise- thank you, I dislike BC so much, i am remembering quickly why I decided to not go on it when I got married, and just "take my chances" lol little did i know what a journey this would be! lol.

Clare- what a sweet and clever idea. I got goosebumps when i read it. I'd love to be a fly on the wall. it will be very exciting. I hope you keep feeling normal and have the best pregnancy.

Denise- sorry for the headache. I hope today is better. Red cross did it because parents complained about having 5 & 10 yr olds in he same class. I think if the parent ok's it then it should be fine. Brennan is already swimming less than last week. He is afraid to swim further and I think that is b/c he doesnt have other kids at his level. Oh well.

Becky-enjoy your last wed. off!!!!

Clare- that is such a cute idea!! I bet the grandparents will be super excited!!

Nothing new here. I want to try and paint the boys room this weekned since it is a long one. We never painted it when we switched rooms in Dec. ONly problem is boys will be home so it might be difficult.

Hello Everyone!!
Sorry I have been MIA lately. We went to the beach for 2 weeks and I didn't have internet access. We are doing great. We had a great time and it was so nice to have the DH to help out with Carson! He is doing great. Only getting up once a night to eat (most nights) but he is still sleeping in his boucey seat. I know I need to break that habit soon but every time I lay him in his pack n play he wakes up. I will check back later. I have a hungry baby!
