Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Becky - Hope Brennan enjoys t-ball. I'm thinking about getting Kieya into tumbling. She was having so much fun doing flips yesterday in the house that I think she would really like it.
Gigi - Thanks for checking in. Hope everythings going good with you and the LOs. Hope you don't get too much of the icey weather.
Denise - Hope the weather doesn't get too bad on you. I hate the ice too. Good thing we don't really get it very often here in Louisiana. They start shuting down roads here if there is even just a tiny bit of snow because people here don't know how to drive in it. I certainly wouldn't want to be on the road in Louisiana with ice. You would be risking you life being out driving with all of these crazy drivers!
AFM - I had a lot of cramping last night & this morning. The cramping is gone now though. I'm going to get my hair cut in a few minutes if the lady next door can fit be in before my next patient and then after work DH, Kieya, & I are going to go get pictures taken. After those pictures are done Addison can come whenever she wants. I really hope that all the cramping has helped with the dialation & effacing so that my chances of the dr. stripping the membranes tomorrow & it working will be better. I'm hoping that he will do that & then I can stay over at my MIL until the next morning & wake up with the contractions again. This way Kieya will be asleep and we will be close to the hospital and can just wake up MIL & let her know we are leaving & heading to the hospital. Then by the time DD is awake and eats breakfast it should be close to time for her to come meet her new baby sister. I know things don't usually work out the way we plan but that sure would be nice. I will update you all as soon as I can if anything changes or after my dr. appointment tomorrow afternoon.

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Denise - The house, what can I say about the house? It is not sold yet and I can not wait until that stress is gone. It is currently on the market for 100,000 less then what I paid for it 6 years ago and is still not selling. UGH. I am praying it sells very soon or the bank finally takes it back already. Freezing rain .. YUCK!! That stinks.
Becky - T-Ball, YEAH!! I can not wait for those days. hat is going to be so much fun.
Alicia - KFC that your plan works out. It would be nice if that baby could stick to the timeline. LOL
Kate - LOL I was thinking the same thing. I think trying to type without a space would be so difficult.
AFM: The townhouse we are living in had water dripping in the walls this past week which was a major pain. I guess it is because we have gotten so much snow recently that the roofs could not handle it, not to mention the ice dams. I guess it was happening to a lot of the homes in the complex so they hired a bunch of young men to come out and shovel snow off the roofs. We had over a foot of snow on our roof and it took the poor boys half a day to shovel it off. I should mention that our unit has 6 townhomes attached but still half a day to shovel off the 6 is crazy. Here we are again, it is supposed to start snowing tomorrow and then continue through Wednesday. I guess when this storm is over we will have gotten another foot. I have no clue were they are going to put the snow since the snow banks are so high now that my snow blower can not even blow snow high enough to make it over them. I can not even see over the snow banks at my house and I am almost 6 feet tall. I do love the snow though ... as long as I can watch it fall from my warm cozy livingroom, with a cup of hot coco.
Brody's Birthday is Thursday. I can not believe he is going to be 1. I do not want to be stressed out for his party so we already decorated the house. In fact we are pretty much ready to go. All we have to do is add the cake, food and the ballons that I pre paid for from iParty and we are done. LOL I figure this might be the only year were I can decorate in advance so I better enjoy it while I can.

Just got done with my ob appointment. He said that I am 4 cm dialated & having my bloody show. He thinks that I will have baby Addison tonight or tomorrow but if not we go to the hospital Thrusday morning at 4:00 am for augmentation. He said he was surprised that I made it to my appointment with the front that is coming through but said that between the front & him stripping my membranes he really thinks I will go tonight or tomorrow. I will update when I can. Taking laptop to the hospital when we go but not sure if I will have internet or not.

Stacey ~ ugh on the water in the townhouse. I hope that they fix it for you. Have fun with Brody's party
Kate ~ I can only imagine how sick of snow you are. That was the way I was last year. We've gotten lucky so far this year. I don't think it'll be like that next year.
Alicia ~ good luck! Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it.

Alicia - Good luck!
When did you all start doing some form of sleep training? I'm thinking that our Babies are too young for that yet, but just thought I would ask to see what you all have done. What method did you use?
Also, when did your Babies start taking naps during the day? Mine sleep and eat whenever they want to and aren't on any sort of structured nap schedule. I was just wondering when this starts and how to start it.
Thanks for any responses!

Alicia-Congrats! Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it!
Clare-I would say Nick got on somewhat of a nap schedule about 2-3 months. At 4 months we started to let him "self soothe", basically cry himself to sleep. I have to say it was the best thing we ever did. He has been such a good sleeper ever since and goes to sleep on his own every night and for every nap. What we did in the beginning was put him down around 8pm or so and then at about 10pm before we went to bed I would pick him up, change him in the dark, and give him about another 4 oz or so and put him back down. That I started doing at around 2 months and he pretty much slept through the night from that point on. I am sure its a bit more of a challenge with two!
AFM-Sorry I have been MIA...been spending a lot of time on DH's books for the business since I procrastinated a little this year, lol. But they are done and he went to the accountant today. We are getting a return, which I am happy about because we are starting the addition on our house as soon as it stops snowing...so maybe sometime in June, lol. This winter is just ridiculous, I can barely see out of my windows, lol.
I have been feeling ok, went for a massage today and started seeing a physiotherapist monday to adjust my back and pelvis. I will be seeing him weekly. Been having a lot of Braxton Hicks, dr said its cause he is so active. He does not stop moving, EVER, lol.
Hope everyone is doing well! Off to bed

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Hello Ladies, It's safe to say that I got my new computer so i can type better now. This is really the first chance that I've had to catch up so I will do my best.
Becky - I hope you have a nice time over the weekend and I am sure Brennen will love T-ball and Yes you will be a busy mommy with that.
Becky C- Love the picture of Nick and Daddy shaving. I hope the BH's have subsided for a bit. I hope the massage helped your pelvis. I remember that pain and frankly mine hasn't been the same since the girls so I hope all went well.
Clare - With all of my little ones it was about 4 month when we really we able to establish a good schedule and naptime regimen. I did the self soothing too and it was the best thing I have ever done . I didn't do it with Caleb and he never slept or needed to be rocked to go to sleep. I learned from my mistakes and recommend it for everyone now. It's a joy to be able to put a baby in there crib and let them go to sleep on there own. Lily at night time since she is still in our room she gets the TV on at night until we come to bed but that is chaning soon too but just for a nap she doesn't been anything but he music.
Heather - I love the name you picked for the little one. Kaylee. I absolutely love it. Just had to chime in since i don't see you much!
Stacey - Sorry to hear about the water issue in the townhome your living in. Also sorry to hear about not being able to sell the house. Why do you think it's been so hard? Timing maybe because that's a good price if you ask me. I know what you mean about time flying. Lily is going to be 1 and Olivia 2 next month we have the birthday party planned and most of the decorations ordered. We are doing Tinkerbell and not really all out tinkerbell but the invites and the cake will be the rest of the decor is just the lime green and purple colors so coordinate. I am looking foward to it.
AFM - Where do I begin? My month of January has sucked really bad. So I am hoping for a better February. Well the vomitting started on Friday with Olivia by saturday Caleb had it at my mom's house then Lily started with it. Then on Sunday morning my mom had it at her house, and tom and I started with it. Today my dad got it and now my brother has it. It all started with a little lady. We are trying to get better slowly.
We are starting the process of getting preapproved to look for a new home. We have really out grown this one and we need something bigger and with more space in general. Lily and Oliva need a big enough room to share and me and hubby can have our privacy again. I am finishing up my first term of classes and will start my last one already this month. I will then do my externship hopefully at Hershey Medical Center. Well that's my goal anyway We shall see. I love school I just cant stand the childish adults that i go to school with. Seriously, someone actually made fun of my weight. I was upset but got over it. She was ugly frankly and only an ugly person that has self esteem issues would do something like that. Well that's everything for now. I feel like I wrote a book tonight. It has been a while.

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Alicia ~ congrats on your new baby girl!
Clare ~ ugh sleep schedule. Well, Alexa pretty much leads the way with her naps and such. When she was about 3 or 4 months old, she would get up at 8, eat, play a bit, and go back to sleep around 10. She'd get up again, eat, play, and nap again for another 2 hours. Then she would be up pretty much until bedtime which was around 10 or 11. Since I was a SAHM it didn't really phase me that she went to sleep later. She used to soothe and put herself to sleep. She had a bad week and I started rocking her to sleep. And we still rock her to sleep. I love it but it can be a pain in the butt.
Alyssa will put herself to sleep a lot of the time. She does want to be held every now and again. I will definitely be putting her down drowsy instead of totally to sleep. I don't think I can rock both of them ~ Alexa's too big!
Gigi ~ sorry about the sickies. I hope that everyone gets well soon. And oy about those people at school. Just proves my point that some people will NEVER grow up.
Becky C ~ I'm sorry about the BHs. I had a crap ton of them with Alyssa. There were times where I should have called the doctor but I didn't. One night I had them every 10 minutes for 2 hours straight. I was about 37 weeks so I just let it go *oopsie*. I hope that you start to feel better soon!
Hi to EOE. Not much else going on here. Chris goes back to work tomorrow and I'm a bit anxious about it. I'm sure it'll be fine but Alexa is cutting her last two 2 year old molars and she's been clingy to Chris. I am not so sure how she'll be tonight. Not to mention that I put Alyssa in her crib tonight instead of our room. I'm not anxious about that but I am sad that I will have to get out of bed to feed her - lol. I'm lazy.
I hope everyone has a good night.

I am spotting light pink and have 3x times this morning. This is kinda like my cycle with Ezra, but I am still on edge and low hopes.

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Heather-Sorry Fingers crossed its not AF
Denise-Ugh, this BH and this pelvis thing are KILLING me. I guess I just have to deal another 3 months. I am not having the BH every day, but a lot more than I did with Nick. When I get one I get like a period cramp with it...were yours like that?
Gigi-We are outgrowing our house also. We only have two bedrooms and I know its not a big deal for the boys to share a room but we are putting an addition on anyway. We will be adding an entire 2nd floor to our ranch, 3 bedrooms and a bath. Hopefully we can get started ASAP, we are waiting to hear from the city for our permits then DH's uncles construction company can get started. Hope everyone is feeling better over there! We all had the bug after Nicks bday party and it was no fun. As for people making fun of your weight, it is just insecurities that they have within themselves. It ticks me off that people can be so immature. Good luck with school!
Becky-How was the release party?
AFM-Thing here have been pretty stressful. My family is at it again and this time it is my almost SIL that is causing all the drama. I don't want to get into detail, but my brother is marrying this girl in 3 months and I along with everyone else thinks he is making a huge mistake. She started the biggest war yesterday that my family has ever had (and thats saying a lot given the fact that we are all crazy Italians, lol).
Went to get my back adjusted and I have to go back to physical therapy. Apparently my hips are really messed up and he actually had to put one back in the joint the way its supposed to be. They have me doing a lot of work for the new computer program at work so I am basically at a desk and not pushing stretchers and lifting all that heavy equipment which is good.
Alright, off to give Nick lunch and hopefully a nap for both of us. TTYL!

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Brody's B day was a hit. I can not believe he is 1 now. We had so much fun but I am so glad it is over. Who knew planning a B day party would take so much work. PHEW!
I had my steroid treatment last week. It was pretty easy, except for the fact that it made me so sick. They put an I.V. in then used that all week, well almost all week. Friday it started leaking so they had to take it out and put a new one in. The nurse who took it out said she could not believe that I got 4 days out of the first one. I had asked the nurse the previous day how long they would last and she did not seem to think it was a big deal.
The infusion therapy made me so sick. UGH. My last treatment was Friday. I thought by now the steroids would be out of my system but I guess not sincde I feel like I was hit by a train. My whole body feels like one huge bruise and I could not sleep last night to save my life. In fact I heard a train go through the cente of town at 12:50AM and I live a mile away from the center of town. I am praying I get more sleep tonighte.
Other then that I am taking a cake decorating class at Michaels. It is a lot of fun and I am learning a lot. I am hoping I can use what I learn to mkae all of Brody's B day cake going forward. How is everyone else doing these days? I miss my girls.
Alicia - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Welcome Addison! How is that baby?!?!?!?
Kate - Did you see it is going to be almost 50 on Friday?!?!?!? Time to Melt some Snow!!
Denise - How are those girls?
Clare - Brody did not start taking a formal nap or move into a routine until he was like 6 months or so. Prior to that he just slept whenever he wanted. Brody does not go down for a nap easy unless we rock him. We tried to let him cry it out but eventually gave in. Sounds like it worked for Becky C. so I would use her advice. :} Brody does sleep through the night but we just can not put him in his crib and expect him to go to sleep on his own. He throws a horrible fit if we do that.
Becky C. - A massage sounds nice. I hope it is giving you a bit of relief. YAYa for a return!! An addition would be awesome. We could use the extra room as well. Pray everything goes smoothly for you.
Becky - That party sounds like a lot of fun. I love that kind of stuff. Nice to have a night out with the girls on occassion.
Gigi - Yeah for a new computer! Someone made fun of your weight and you were not dropping the children off at day care when it happened? You kidding me? I had to read that twice to make sur eI read it correct, what is wrong with people? Pray you find the perfect house!! Sounds like you need a bit more room. As for selling our house we just got an offer. Hopefully it sticks and we can be done with it already. Especially since we stopped plowing out the driveway so no one can get in anymore. I just want the house to be gone now. I am so over it. :}
Heather - KFC this is the cycle.

Stacey - I was made fun of actually at school but I'm okay now it just show's how low people that are unhappy in their lives will go to make themselves feel better. I really hope your house sells and the offer sticks too. Hopefully we should now something this week to see if we qualify for the loan this week. Finger's crossed because I am just so over this house too. There are a few more things that need to be fied and touched up here and then we will be good to go. I want to fix 2 windows and put in some new glass in them and a fresh coat of paint in the living room and dining room fix the celing in the kitchen and then just the basic gutting out of old stuff and making it look nice then we should be good to go! WOW a toddler now huh? HEHE time really does fly by doesn't it!!!

Re: TTC a Miracle 2009
Just stopping in really quick to update everyone. Addison went to the dr at 5 days old & was very jaundice. Her bilirubin levels were checked & came back at 12.5. They were 5.8 when discharged so that was a big jump. She is looking much better now though. Also, she was 6 lb 12.4 oz at birth & was up to 6 lb 13 oz at that appointment. At her 2 week appointment on Wednesday she was 7 lb 2 oz and we were told that she most likely has an umbilical hernia. We have also been dealing with her vomiting atleast once a day so she went back to the dr yesterday. She was up too 7 lb 12 oz. Dr said that she is being a little piggy and eating too much is the reason she is getting sick. She said it sounds like I have an over abundent supply. I am now having too cut her feedings short. She doesn't like me doing this sometimes but she hasn't got sick since so hopefully that is truely the problem. As for Kieya, she went to the ENT on Wednesday. They did a hearing test & she failed it for her left ear due to fluid in her ear. She has been dealing with sinus issues because of allergies for about a month & a half now even though she is on Singular so now she has to take the Singular & Nasonex for 2 months & if she is not doing better then she will have to have surgery to replace the tube in her ear. She goes back to see the ENT on April 18th which of course is after my deductable starts over (april 1st) which means if she has to have surgery then we will have to meet the deductable again. And as for me & Sheldon, we are both sick. I'm just hoping Kieya & Addison don't get it. Well, Addison is asleep now so I better go take a nap. I'll check back in when I get a chance to do personals.
